had an awesome dinner tonight! really very shiok. went for japanese food with elder brother and parents. its kinda unique in the sense that you wait for the waitress to recommend for you. i mean it is kinda of common that they recommend to you. but over there, it is special. their food itself is special. i mean i have never ate such japanese food before lah. haha. like mixture of this and that. and today i learnt something new. there are different types of wasabi! like raw kind and the normal kind that we eat normally. those raw kind is more 'spicy' in that sense lah. its more qing shuang. haha. the sushi is also unique. was amazed by one which the chef crack the egg and placed it on the hand and scooped the egg yolk and place in the seaweed. its mixed with salmon belly and something. its YUMMY! okays. those who know me well enough should know that i seldom say something is very nice one. but this one really not bad. haha.
but of cos the dinner also cost alot lah. for 4 pax, we spent 280 bucks. means to say each person pay 70 bucks. and we werent seated in a restaurant setting. we were sitting inside food republic. haha. though the food is kinda pricey. but den once in a while, it is still okays. there is one special item called the shiok maki. not bad too. yums yums! wonderful dinner! :D
oh ya. that place is called hamoru japanese something. its at suntec city convention hall there. the food republic. if you are willing to spend on fresh sashimi and unique jap food, you can give it a try. but if you want to have a romantic date, hmmm. not very suitable ah. hahaha.
